Star’s awkward couple’s therapy fail

Karen Gillan, who plays Nebula in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, recently shared an amusing incident on Instagram that happened during a couple’s therapy session with her husband Nick Kocher. Gillan, in full makeup for her role as Nebula, forgot about the scheduled session and logged in while still in character. She posted a screenshot of the Zoom call, where her therapist’s face was covered with a bemused emoji for anonymity, and her head and neck were covered in blue makeup.
Gillan’s co-stars, Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldaña, commented on the post, with Pratt calling it the “best,” and Saldaña suggesting that it should be in a movie. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Gillan explained that she was running late for the session and had warned them about being at work, but they were not prepared for her in full makeup.
Gillan had previously shared on Instagram in February that she and Kocher had gotten married in Scotland in May 2022. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which is set to be the final appearance for the main cast, including Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Pratt, and Saldaña, is now in theaters. The movie’s official synopsis reveals that the team must rally around Star-Lord to defend the universe and protect one of their own.
