If you’re looking for a delicious and easy dinner recipe for a busy weeknight, this Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin is a great choice. Not only is it healthy, but it’s also incredibly tasty thanks to the sweet and slightly spicy honey balsamic sauce.
One of the things I love most about this recipe is how easy it is to make. You don’t need a lot of ingredients, and the Instant Pot does all the hard work for you. Plus, it’s a one-pot meal, so cleanup is a breeze!
The pork tenderloin comes out perfectly cooked and tender, with a mouthwatering flavor that’s sure to impress. I like to serve it with a side of rice and veggies to soak up all the extra juices in the dish. Trust me, you’ll want seconds!
Whether you’re a busy parent trying to get dinner on the table in a hurry, or you’re just looking for a quick and easy meal that doesn’t skimp on flavor, this Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin is a winner. Give it a try and see for yourself!
Even better is the fact that you can even cook the tenderloin fresh or frozen if you’re going out and don’t have time to defrost it like you would if you cooked it in the oven.
Using my Instant Pot to cook tender pork loin and honey balsamic sauce is a doddle too! It’s amazing how the right marinade can transform a dish, but if I’m being honest, it’s sometimes an afterthought between juggling the day’s to-do list. Combining pressure cooking in the Instant Pot and creating the sauce solves that problem and results in a delicious sauce that adds bursts of flavors to this meal!
This is a meal that requires minimal effort and time, but is sure to impress your family or dinner guests. That’s a thumbs up from me!!
Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin with Honey Balsamic Sauce
- Rinse meat and pat dry with paper towels, cut silver strip from meat.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a small bowl. Rub tenderloins with dry seasoning mix until coated on all sides.
- Heat oil and garlic in Instant Pot on sauté setting, until it says “hot”, stirring constantly. (The garlic will turn brown and start to stick together.)
- Carefully add seasoned pork to pot, brown meat on all sides. About 5-7 minutes. Remove the meat and reserve on a plate for the next step.
- Slowly add the water to the pot and quickly scrape the bottom of the pot to get out any brown bits that are stuck to the bottom. Turn off the Instant Pot.
- Place the trivet in the pot and add the browned meat. Close the lid and make sure it is set to seal and manual for 5 minutes.
- After the timer has gone off, let it naturally release for 9 minutes, then manually release the rest of the way.
- Remove the meat and let it rest on a plate to rest. The meat should read 145 degrees F to be fully cooked.
- Press the saute button and add beef broth, smoke flavor, balsamic vinegar and honey to pot, bring to a boil. Whisk about 3 tablespoons of cornstarch and about 3 tablespoons of water in a small bowl until well blended. Slowly add cornstarch and water, beat vigorously.
- Bring to a boil until the sauce thickens. It will continue to thicken as it cools. Feel free to add more cornstarch and water as needed to get your desired thickness.
